sex with a condom v. sex without one?

Hi, I'm a 28 year old male. I've never had sex without a condom before (always want to be safe!! :) Anyway, my buddy and i were talking and he said he doesn't use one, that his g/f is on the pill. That surprised me cause he's like the most caution guy I know and I know he'd freak out if he ever got her pregnant acciedentally. But he said the increased pleasure is well worth the risk!! Is this so? How much difference in pleasure is there. My g/f is on the pill but I always wear a condom anyway.

Is sex without a condom that much different than sex with a condom?
